Walcott gets praise from Arsenal team-mate

Arsenal player Gilberto feels that Theo Walcott could become an important player for the club.

Walcott has come under a lot of criticism after not featuring in the World Cup but the Arsenal boss and team-mates are still well behind the youngster.

Gilberto insists that Walcott plays football without fear and that is an important aspect if he's going to make it at Arsenal.

"He can be one of the important players for Arsenal. He plays his football without fear and that is important" said Gilberto.

"He is a fantastic young player and has a lot going for him.

"At Arsenal everyone is here to help him and he can develop very quickly. We are there to help and (manager) Arsene Wenger has an important role too.

"When you have something to say to him, Theo listens to it and that is good for a young guy who has such talent."
