Fergie will try his hardest to bring new star to Man Utd

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists that Bayern Munich are stubborn.

United are currently trying to sign Owen Hargreaves but they are finding it very difficult as Bayern are reluctant to sell their defensive midfielder.

Hargreaves has made it clear that he'd love to play for Man Utd and Fergie will carry on doing his best to make it happen.

"There is nothing I can tell you," said Ferguson to PremPlus.

"We are trying hard, but they are very stubborn and resistant are Bayern Munich. I can understand that and we can only do our best.

"I think we want to build a strong squad of players and there are key elements to that and that is certainly the case with Owen."
