Tottenham make Lyon move

Tottenham are revealed to be trying to sign Ben Arfa from Lyon.

Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas revealed that Tottenham are pressing hard to sign the teenage and it is nessary to discuss the possible transfer.

Arfa is only 19-years-old but is thought of highly. He previously stated that he wishes to move away from the club, only making Tottenham's chances of making the signing even greater.

"I saw the leaders of Tottenham are pressing hard to sign Hatem," said Aulas to the club's official website.

"It is necessary that we discuss it."

Ben Arfa is a left sided Lennon, same height, same built, same pace and skill but left footed..so good choice..only concern will be he is young and not english speaking. If Lennon at the start was homesick i wonder what Ben Arfa might become in the first few months.

Malbranque is a good player but for a goal scoring super pacey midfielder Baptista is a great choice but the price tag of more than £6 mil or £7 mil is excessive.

I would also sign Sylvain Distin for peanuts as a cover.

Unlike the most i dont think we need a right full back..Lee looked ok on the right besides we still have Stalteri and Ifil.
