Even if Man Utd offer 30, 40 or 50million

Things are not looking good for Man Utd in regards to signing Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Owen Hargreaves.

Hoeness admits he finds it legitimate that Hargreaves would like to play for Man Utd but there is a contract and it's going to be stuck to.

It'll only be more frustration for Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson but it looks like he may have to give up on trying to make this signing.

"We found it legitimate (of Hargreaves) to say that he would like to play for Manchester," said Hoeness to kicker magazine.

"And I like this player. But there is a contract and that is why I said to him: `Owen, I cannot understand that you can't accept that. Even if Manchester offer 30, 40 or 50
million'."
