Allardyce hard work pays off as star finally signs

Bolton have completed the signing of former Arsenal ace Nicolas Anelka.

After spending time with Fenerbahce, Anelka has found his way back to the Premiership and it's all thanks to patience from Bolton.

There had been rumours that Bolton were trying to make the signing and time was dragging on. But just when things looked like they wasn't going to happen, Anelka signs on the dotted line.

"Patience is a virtue, and I am pleased to say that all the waiting and hard work we've done behind the scenes has paid off," said Allardyce to the club's official website.

"Nicolas is a player with an amazing track record in The Premiership; he was born to score goals. His talent and experience will be a valuable asset for us.

"I'd also like to thank Eddie Davies and our Chairman Phil Gartside. It's an unprecedented amount of money for Bolton Wanderers to spend and fully underlines the club's ambition."

Amazing track record indeed.
Arsenal = 17 goals in 35 games, not too bad but he left under nasty circumstances. 7 goald in 37 game for Real Madrid and cost them £23.5m! Ha ha ha ha, then we spent less than half that on Henry. 5 goals in 22 at Liverpool = crap. And 14 in 38 for Man City. And now hes due to fail again at Bolton. Well good luck, he's cost the footballing world over £60m and avergaes 1 goal every 3 games. Oh dear!
