I am happy at Man Utd

Man Utd defender Gabriel Heinze has denied rumours that he wanted a move away from the club.

There was much speculation that Heinze would be playing for a Spanish side this season. However, Heinze was only in Spain because Man Utd boss Sir Alex Ferguson allowed his to have his knee surgery there.

Now Heinze insists that Fergie is one of the main why he wants to stay at the club.

"I am happy at Manchester United," said Heinze to MUTV.

"This is where I want to play.

"I will never forget how the manager supported me by allowing me to have my knee surgery and rehabilitation in Spain. He is one of the main reasons why I want to stay."
