More signings for Blackburn

Mark Hughes is still looking to add to his Blackburn Rovers squad before the transfer deadline.

The latest signing has been of striker Benni McCarthy but Hughes doesn't plan on stopping there as he admits they are working hard to make the squad even stronger.

Francis Jeffers and Jason Roberts are other players who have signed for Blackburn this summer and by the looks of things, Blackburn are going to be quite a force in the coming season.

"We still want to bring in some more players," said Hughes in the Daily Star.

"I'm happy with the way the squad is shaping up and we've got strength and pace in various areas.

"But we're working hard to make the squad even stronger.

"I'm delighted to have got Benni because he has a lot of experience, having played in Holland, Spain and Portugal.

"He will bring something different to the team.

"I'm pleased with the business we've done so far."
