Venables may consider Middlesbrough

Looks like Middlesbrough could be getting their hands on Venables after much speculation.

Venables just couldn't help but admit if something interesting enough hit him in the face, he'd have to have a think about it.

Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson is currently on a trip out of the country so nothing official can be made just yet.

"If something was interesting enough and came along and hit me in the face I'd think about it," said Venables.

"I've gone off in other directions and I never like to close a door but I'm happy at the moment."

Well the season is over, the Champions League final has been played and we are all eagerly awaiting Thierry Henry's decision.

Many are saying Thierry has now got unfinished business at the club, many others are saying that's the final straw and it's time to move on. Reports have been coming out today that Henry stated on the way home last night that 'we must come back stronger next year', that's a major hint if its true.

Why would he want to go to Barcelona now anyway? They've won the Champions League now, it's done, he might not even start every game, there's great competition in that team and also, come on, the Premiership is the best league in the world right?

No doubt we'll hear something from the striker in the coming days regarding his future.
