Man Utd hopeful of big midfielder signing

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is hopeful of signing Owen Hargreaves from Bayern Munich.

The English defensive midfielder made a good name for himself during this summers World Cup. After years of boo's he finally got the chance to show what he was made of.

Now, Man Utd are looking to sign him from Bayern but Fergie admits you can never be too confident.

"We are hopeful but you can never be too confident when you are dealing with a big club like Bayern Munich." said Ferguson.
