Boothroyd not worried over Man Utd

Adrian Boothroyd is looking forward to his Watford side taking on Man Utd in the Premiership.

It's been a great achievement for Watford to get back into the Premiership and it's certainly one that people didn't expect. Now they have the task of staying up.

Facing Man Utd will be a very big game for the club but Boothroyd insists whats the point in playing if you worry about big names and reputations.

"Of course I'm excited about it. He's a legend [Ferguson]," said Boothroyd.

"But I won't be overawed by Manchester United and neither will my players. They're just names.

"Every game in The Premiership is going to be hard for us but what's the point in even playing if you worry about big names and reputations?

"You might as well have a season off and just go straight back down again.

"Like my players, I have to improve very, very quickly. There's a lot to respect in this league but nothing to fear."
