Man Utd target takes Madrid switch

Former Man Utd target Mahamadou Diarra has left Lyon to join Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants are believed to have forked out £17.6 million for the exciting player and they've also tied him down to a five-year-deal.

Diarra revealed that he's very excited and it's a dream to come and play for Madrid.

"I'm very excited," said Diarra.

"It's a dream for me to come and play for Madrid.

"I'm grateful for everybody's effort during the days of the negotiations and now it's my turn to make an effort on the field."
