Tottenham may keep their star middle man

Tottenham fans will feel a sense of relief after it was revealed Ajax have ended their interest in Davids.

Speculation linking Edgar Davids with a move away from Tottenham has been happening since the transfer window opened.

It's unknown whether he wanted to spend more than one season in the Premiership, the Tottenham fans will sure be hoping he does, but he has his personal life to think about and also his future which is the most important thing in his future right now.

Ajax were thought to be the team to take Davids but reports have revealed they are no longer interested after Davids failed to come to a decision.

his ego is fine, he isnt like klinsman. he is more like roy keane.

Spurs will do well to keep him, even if he only plays 10 games, he will teach and inspire youngsters in such a positive way. he also offers an attraction when we sign big name players

What Davids now lacks in quality, he covers in enthuiasm and maturity, but this doesnt make upfor the 48k per week. We will be playing hopefully up to 10-15 more games next season, but Davids wont be happy playing on the bench. Sell him to Wigan or something and bring in Zakora
